چکیده
Objective: The objective of this study was to investigate the group/subgroup phytoplasma agent in peppers showing symptoms. Material and Methods: In study, plants collected from Iğdır province 2020 were analyzed using direct nested PCR tests, BLASTn, iphyClassifier, Mega 7, pDRAW32 programs used. Results: tests performed, approximately 1.2 kb DNA fragments specific obtained. 16S rRNA nucleotide sequence (1254 bp length) (OM663745) revealed that it showed more than 99.44% similarity other ‘Ca. P. trifolii’ members. tentative RFLP phylogenetic analyzes performed proved infection Clover proliferation group (16SrVI) subgroup A symptomatic pepper plants. Conclusion: presence naturally infected Turkey detected PCR-RFLP cladistic analysis.

'Candidatus Phytoplasma mali', 'Candidatus Phytoplasma pyri' and 'Candidatus Phytoplasma prunorum', the causal agents of apple proliferation, pear decline and European stone fruit yellows, respectively.
Apple proliferation (AP), pear decline (PD) and European stone fruit yellows (ESFY) are among the most economically important plant diseases that are caused by phytoplasmas. Phylogenetic analyses revealed that the 16S rDNA sequences of strains of each of these pathogens were identical or nearly identical. Differences between the three phytoplasmas ranged from 1.0 to 1.5% of nucleotide positions...

Article Information Brinjal is an important vegetable crop grown worldwide. A field survey conducted during 2012 in Kerala state of South India, the little leaf disease affected brinjal plant was observed in one of the home gardens located at Nemmara (Palakkad district). The diseased and healthy samples were collected; genomic DNA was isolated and 16SrRNA gene amplified by performing nested PCR...
متن کامل'Candidatus Phytoplasma brasiliense', a new phytoplasma taxon associated with hibiscus witches' broom disease.
Hibiscus rosa-sinensis is a valuable ornamental species widely planted in Brazil. Many plants are affected by witches' broom disease, which is characterized by excessive axillary branching, abnormally small leaves, and deformed flowers, symptoms that are characteristic of diseases attributed to phytoplasmas. A phytoplasma was detected in diseased Hibiscus by amplification of rRNA operon sequenc...
متن کاملThe phytoplasma associated with ash yellows and lilac witches'-broom: 'Candidatus phytoplasma fraxini'.
Phytoplasmas associated with the plant diseases ash yellows (AshY, occurring in Fraxinus) and lilac witches'-broom (LWB, occurring in Syringa) represent a putative species-level taxon. Phytoplasmal DNA from 19 ash or lilac sources across the known geographic range of AshY (71-113 degrees W) was examined to determine if AshY and LWB phytoplasmas are a coherent group, if variability exists in bot...

In Korea, Japanese chestnut trees (Castanea crenata Sieb. and Zucc.) showing symptoms indicative of witches' broom disease, including abnormally small leaves and yellowing of young leaves, were examined. Since the symptoms were suggestive of a phytoplasma infection, tissues were assayed for phytoplasmas by PCR analysis using a pair of universal primers that amplify a 1.4-kbp phytoplasma 16S rDN...
